I'm Dan Cordeiro. Before Bakery OS, I ran 21Fifty Artisan Bakehouse, a community sourdough microbakery. I loved the baking part. I did not love the rest of it, especially planning for markets. Figuring out how much dough to make, rebuilding prep sheets from scratch, and chasing down orders across texts and DMs ate up more of my week than the actual baking did.
At some point I realized I was spending more hours organizing than I was baking, and that felt backwards. So I built the tool I wished already existed — something that handled ordering, payments, and prep so bakers could get back to what they actually signed up for.
